2019 Federal Budget Summary
The 2019 Federal Government Budget has been announced, and is notable in that it contains a lot less changes than those we have become accustomed to of recent years.
Key announcements include tax savings for low and middle income earners, increased flexibility for older Australians to make superannuation contributions, one off payments for income support recipients to help with energy costs and increased infrastructure spending.
It is important to keep in mind that these announcements are not yet law, and will likely only become so after the upcoming election if the current Government is re-elected.
